Building an audience with Instagram

Success does not come overnight on Instagram

there are no miracle secrets that will propulse you to the top of the influencers sphere

but there are ways to climb the top - these are not secret, but discipline

First you need to find your niche (comics, cyber, cosplay, watercolor, acrylics, modeling, photography, landscape, aquatics, sea landscape, mountain, sports, bodybuilding, cosmetics and so on) and once you're set - keep that direction and post good content.

What will make your instagram account pop in the middle of all these daily posts - (there are close to 100 million photos and videos shared on Instagram each day)

The biggest tip would be to post daily, and post frequently - one post each day and all days around 2pm GMT

Then tag people you know - then tag influencers, if they are nice, they will post your photo in their story - that will help immensely

Then comment in the other photos of the people in the same niche, industry where you are working

After that, tweak your content a bit - according to the reaction of the public

Check your statistics, engage with the commenters, engage via direct messages (but do not harass anyone).

Be nice, kind and post good content daily - just one post

Avoid spamming, posting like 10 photos in a row and then nothing for a week - that won't work.

Follow closely trends, and the news - see what hashtag is trending, and try to be in the pioneers wave - once the trend is dying, find a new trend.

Collaborate as much as possible in cool projects - there are some hashtags that will open 'challenges' daily for fun content - one of them is #dtiys (draw it your style) if you are a graphic artist, this might help you get new viewers.

Why an alternative to facebook is needed

Why an alternative to facebook is painfully needed

Back in September 2014, a new social media network called Ello made his entry talking about ad-free alternatives to some of the big players of the field (facebook, myspace, etc ...), but more that that Ello promises that the personal information will never be sold to any third parties.

The problem is that viewed from a platform like facebook - a registered user is 'the product' - everything he does is scrutinized, and tracked and recorded so every post that is shared, every friend or every link followed is then sold to advertisers.

Being spied upon is it seems the new trend, the natural way of living with surveillance cameras at every corners of the cities, and where mobile devices are following your every moves...

So when people launch a new social media network that basically says “You are not a product,” its manifesto attracts new people.

The fact that Ello after a few research ended up - being a $435,000 company in venture capital, closed-source code, and a centralized structure appeared to be in contradiction with his pro-independence manifesto.

It just happened not to be what people looking for freedom would be interested in.
Not the anti-facebook we were looking for.

The need is still there, though ...

New Business models for the 21st century

Employees are doomed

We all heard about the end of the "Employee paradigm" - the mythical guy who has been working for the same company all his career is a very endangered specie. Today working 3 or 4 years for a company is already a big achievement.

Work as we know it today, is still a concept inherited from the industrial age, but this concept is obsolete and that's why we are confronted with a massive unemployment on one hand or many jobs that are either "artificial" or counter-productive and employers that are reluctant to hire freshly certified student or prefer to invest in abroad facilities or outsourcing on the other hand. Because one side is trying to enter the workforce place to access the consumerism model (buying a house, a car and starting a family) and the other is trying to lower his price and maximize his profits.

Until society accept that there is no shame to be unemployed - and address the people's need to find their own true purpose - society will be in dire straights.

The rise of the self employed

Because many people are unemployed - or are trying to find or add a new income - self employment or freelancing and self empowerment, have emerged and are giving the economy a boost in self-help, coaching, mentoring, sales training, etc...
But still being "self employed" is usually a synonymous of "being a loser at home" society's perception is still in preference of the old paradigm of the three piece suits employee working 9 to 5 in a modern office - and for the "Freelancer" the challenges are even more difficult, because now the former "frustrated employee" is still the employee, but he also has to be his own boss ...
